Admission Procedure

Eligibility for B.Tech Admission
  • Nationality Candidates must be citizens of India for general category admission.

  • Age Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on last December 31st.

  • Eligibility Criteria +2 pass with 45% in MPC & Qualifying entrance examination KEAM / JEE and for NRI quota 50% in +2 with MPC.

  • Entrance Examination Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala(KEAM) and should be listed in KEAM Rank List.

  • Supernumerary quota for Foreign Nationals (FN), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) & Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) No Visiting Visa holder can sponsor a student or who holds a Visa with ‘House Wife’ status. Either of the parent's certificate of employment on company letterhead is required

  • NRI Quota The Managements are entitled to fill up 15% seats in the NRI category (NRI) by admitting qualified students who are Sons and Daughters of Non Resident Indians. These students are advised to qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala(KEAM) and should be listed in KEAM Rank List. Exemptions are based on their academic eligibility as stipulated by AICTE, Govt of Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). Required: Father’s / Mother’s / Sponsor's Visa copy in English Language. (Translated to English)

Eligibility for M.Tech Admission
  • The candidates shall be an Indian National.

  • The candidates should have studied the Graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE/Deemed Universities.

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination. For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient. For SEBC students, a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory.

  • Candidates, who have passed AMIE / AMIETE Examinations and satisfying the following conditions, are eligible for admission.

    They must have valid GATE score.

    A minimum of 55% marks for section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination.

    Minimum three years of Professional experience in the field of Specialization after acquiring the qualifying degree.

  • Candidates who have appeared for the final semester examination can also apply, provided he/she has passed all the subjects up to and including the 6th semester exam (8th semester for B.Arch students). Selection of such candidates shall be subject to the production of qualifying degree -satisfying clauses V (a) to (d) as applicable on or before September 30, 2020.

  • Admission shall normally be restricted to those with valid GATE score. However, this stipulation is relaxed in the case of management quota candidates.

  • In case seats remain vacant due to lack of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates from without valid GATE score will be considered against such vacancies.

Eligibility for MCA Admission
  • MCA Regular Govt seats

    50% of the MCA regular seats are allotted through Kerala MCA Entrance Examination conducted by LBS. Fee structure is same for all.

  • Eligibility Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level (Including B. Com Degree with Business Mathematics or Business Statistics)

    Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belong to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

  • MCA LE (Lateral Entry to second year) * Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B Sc (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level.

    Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belong to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

  • Upload passport size photo

The college authorities have the ultimate power to cancel the admission, if any of the certificates submitted by the candidate found to be false or tampered with or the eligibility of the candidate is not approved by the university.
