  • Deparment of Mechatronics Association AZIMOS organizes A Seminar on “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” on January 13, 2022 at 9.00 AM by Dr. V Subramania Bharathi, Director-Administration & Accreditation Nehru Group of Institutions, Kerala
  • Mechatronics Department Organized technical talk on the topic “Robotics and Applications in Manufacturing” was commenced on 14/06/2021 by effectively using the online meeting platform GOOGLE Meet.
  • Mechatronics Department Organized Personality Development Program On The Topic “Impact of communication and personality on career development” by Dr. Jojo George (Professor, NCERC ,Pampady) on 09/09/2021.
  • Mechatronics Department Organized Seminar on the on the topic “Basics of Personal Interview” was commenced on 10/09/2021 by effectively using the online meeting platform GOOGLE Meet. Mr. Gopinathan C (Asst. professor and placement coordinator, NCERC, Pampady) was the resource person.
  • Mechatronics Department Organized workshop on the topic “Emerging Trends in Robotics” was conducted on 13/07/2021 by effectively using the online meeting platform GOOGLE Meet. A total of 50 students attended the seminar from the nearby higher secondary schools.
  • Mechatronics department organized a national level workshop on the topic “PLC and Industrial Automation” was conducted on 30/12/2020 by effectively using the online meeting platform GOOGLE Meet by Mr. Sreekumar P R (Senior Engineer & Technical Trainer).
  • Mechatronics department conducted national workshop on the topic ““Optical Wireless Communication” was conducted on 28/04/2021 by effectively using the online meeting platform GOOGLE Meet. Dr T Shivakami was the resource person.
  • Mechatronics Engineering department conducted Inter National workshop on the topic “Development and Integration of a Solar Powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicle of High Altitude Long Endurance” was conducted on 18/09/2021 by effectively using the online meeting platform CISCO WEBEX. Tasupalli Chandra Shekhar, Senior Engineer at Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan was the resource person.
  • Conducted an online 5 days FDP on "Internet of Things, Robotics & its applications" from July 21 to July 25 2020. 84 faculties from within the campus & outside the campus attended the programme.
  • Mechatronics Department organized one day national workshop on "SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN IOT, CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES & AI, by Dr. Rajan N Moorthy, Retired vice president from KIRUSA, Inc. New Jersey, USA.
  • MECHATRONICS DEPT ORGANIZED WEBINAR ON "INTRODUCTION TO AUTOTRONICS" BY OUR FACULTY JISHNU V P.
  • MECHATRONICS DEPT ORGANIZED WEBINAR ON "TRENDS IN ROBOTICS" BY OUR ALUMINI RIBIN MATHEW, ROBOTIC ENGINEER, ANSCER ROBOTICS, BANGALORE.
  • IRON MAN: As a part of NSITE 2020, Final year Mechatronics students made an Iron Man Model using rubber foam and electronic circuits.
  • DRONE SHOW: Students of Mechatronics Department organized drone show with hand gesture controlled drone.
  • LIE DETECTOR : Third year Mechatronics Students develop electrodes to connect to the subject, build an amplifying circuit to increase the signal strength that is read off of the subject, and develop a software algorithm that will detect the lie.
  • RC SHOW: As a part of NSITE 2020 the students of mechatronics department organized RC Show using remote cars with high speed mini engines.
  • WALL-E : As a part of NSITE 2020, Muhammed Shafi (Final year MTR) created this robot as prototype inspired from 2008 American computer-animated science-fiction romance film 'WALL-E' produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
  • ROBO SHOW : Department of Mechatronics in association with Inker robotics organised this Robo show by making these robots dance in front of many school students to make them interest towards robotics as a part of NSITE 2020.
  • LINE FOLLOWER : An autonomous robot has to follow black lines on a white background and reach from starting line to finishing line as soon as possible. Robot must be able to detect particular line and keep following it. So many student teams within the campus and outside the campus participated in this event to won cash prize.
  • Our students of 2014-2018 batch, Nehru college of Engineering and A Centre(Sidharth N Pisharody,John Joe Padua, Sethumadha van, Salman, Srirag) had won the special achievement prize for their project in TEKON, National level Tech Fest organised by KTU at Sahradya College Thrissur.
  • Workshop on PLC AND AUTOMATION, conducted by Mr. M. Karuppusamy, Deepak Electronic Control Device(DECOD) took the workshop on PLC AND AUTOMATION Workshop on “Virtual Instrumentation using LABView software” by Department of Mechatronics in collaboration with Elematics enterprises and National Instruments.
  • Seminar on the topic “Non-Linear Control System and Chaos”, by Dr. N. Rajan Babu , Head of Department of Instrumentation Department at NSS Engineering College, Palakkad.
  • Seminar on ‘Modern farm machinery’ by Sri Kuttikrishnan (General Manager RAIDCO KERALA Ltd.)
  • Seminar on “Entrepreneurship development skills” conducted by mechatronics department.
  • Mechatronics magazine of our college was inaugurated by Dr. N. Rajan Babu, Head of Department of Instrumentation Department at NSS Engineering College, Palakkad.
