The Department of MCA at Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre successfully organized a “Design Thinking Symposium” as part of the NeCTAR (Nehru e-Conference on Technologies Annexing Reality) international e-conference series. The programme was held at Aryabhatta Seminar Hall at 10 AM. The programme was inaugurated by Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India, Chancellor of PK Das Deemed to be University, Chairman & Managing Trustee of Nehru Group of Institutions. Rajesh Krishnan, Associate Director at LTIMindtree, attended the event as the keynote speaker. He delivered an insightful talk on the topic “Design Thinking: The Human Umbrella over Technology, Research & Innovation.” During the session, he highlighted the importance of design thinking in modern technology, research, and innovation, while also sharing valuable industry experiences with the students and faculty members. The interactive session and discussion with students added more value to the programme. Faculty members and students of the MCA Department jointly coordinated the event, making it a grand success.
