The Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Transforming Teaching & Institutional Excellence,” organized by the IQAC of Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre (NCERC), commenced today, 1 June 2026, and will continue until 5 June 2026. The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Dr. Mredhula L, IQAC Director & HoD, Department of ECE, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India and Chairman & Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions, delivered the Presidential Address, and the programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. Vishnu Vijay Kumar. Dr. K. J. Anoop shared valuable insights on academic excellence and the integration of technology in higher education, while Dr. Sudheer S. Marar delivered the felicitation address. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Anto Francis, HoD, Department of Mechatronics Engineering. The FDP featured expert sessions on innovative teaching methods, AI-enabled teaching strategies, accreditation frameworks (NAAC, NBA, NEP, OBE), patent filing and intellectual property rights, and high-quality research publications, aiming to strengthen faculty competencies and promote institutional excellence.
