FEB 28_National Science day is celebrated on February 28th every year in India. It commemorates the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman on February 28, 1928. This discovery led to Sir C.V.Raman being awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930, making him the first Asian to receive a Nobel Prize in the sciences. National Science Day aims to spread awareness about the importance of science and its contributions to society.
